Thank you for choosing Kathy's Show Equipment. We look forward to you having a great experience shopping on our web site. Here are a few of our little policies.  Your satisfaction is our goal! We at Kathy's will do our best to make sure you are very happy with your purchase. We take care in making all of our products and we ship them ourselves.  Please email us with any concerns on your purchase within 7 days of receiving it. 

All of Kathy's items are pretty much custom. We do not put it together or make it until you order it. In stock items will ship within  3-4 days. We will notify you if what you have ordered is not in stock and how long it will take. Custom orders will usually ship within 2- 4 weeks. All saddles as a rule are custom and will take an approximate time of 10-12 weeks, but that varies with each individual order. 

Return or exchange of any purchase requires prior approval within 14 days of receipt of your item. We will exchange your item for only the additional shipping charges.  We will accept the return of your item if it is in new and unused condition with tags attached. It will be inspected upon receipt of the item. If the item was a custom order please email us and we will chat about it.

As with fuel, prices are subject to change!

Note: ​Kathy's Show Equipment products are carefully selected to provide optimum quality and durability. As you are aware, however, horses are strong and powerful animal that can cause even the highest quality strap goods to break. Your common sense and commitment to equine safety are vital to the well- being of both you and your horse.

Can I return or exchange my tack?

Return or exchange of any purchase requires prior approval within 14 days of receipt of your item. We will exchange your item for only the additional shipping charges.  We will accept the return of your item if it is in new and unused condition with tags attached. It will be inspected upon receipt of the item. If the item was a custom order please email us and we will chat about it.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are made to order, so please allow 8-12 weeks on your custom order. If you need it by a certain date, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Shipping Policy

What is the process for standard shipping and delivery? 

We ship via either UPS or USPS for standard ground shipping. Delivery generally takes 5-7 business days.
​As most of our items are made to order, please allow 7-14 business days before we ship. If an item is back-ordered, we will contact you regarding the expected delivery time.

Is insurance included in shipping?

Insurance is not included in our standard shipping. However, you can choose to add insurance during the checkout process in our Online Store.

Do you ship internationally? 

International packages are typically shipped via USPS, with the option for UPS at an additional fee. Insurance is not automatically included and must be selected during checkout. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and vary by location. Estimated delivery time is 6 to 12 business days, excluding customs processing. To ensure timely delivery, we require a phone number and email address for all international orders.

What if I need my tack by a certain date?

If you require your item by a specific date, please reach out to us via email at info@kathystack.com . We offer expedited shipping options, including 3-day, 2-day, or Overnight, for an additional charge. Feel free to discuss your specific needs with us through email.

Which Buckle Styles Can I Choose From?

Slotted

Buckle, Loop, & Tip

Solid

1. Slotted Buckle – A single-piece buckle with slots that the leather slides through.
2. Buckle, Loop & Tip (BLT) – A traditional three-piece set that includes the buckle plus a matching loop and tip.
3. Solid Buckle With Loop & Tip – A heavier, fully solid buckle paired with a loop and tip.

What is the difference between a Congress Cut halter and a Regular Cut halter?

A Congress Cut halter features a wider leather base with shorter, wider silver pieces that don’t extend all the way to the edges.

A Regular Cut halter has a thinner leather strap with longer, narrower silver that runs edge-to-edge.
